Accreditation
​Effective July 21, 2017, Connors State College - Indian Capital Technology Center Physical Therapy Assistant Program has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314, phone:  703-706-3245; e-mail:  accreditation@apta.org). Candidate for Accreditation is a pre-accreditation status of affiliation with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education that indicates that the program is progressing toward accreditation and may matriculate students in technical/professional courses.  Candidate for Accreditation is not an accreditation status nor does it assure eventual accreditation.  

Complaints About the Program
The PTA Program takes complaints seriously and works to resolve issues in a satisfactory manner.  Individuals registering complaints about the program and/or faculty will be free from retaliation following the submission of a complaint.

All complaints will be documented, including the projected outcome, and kept on file at the program facility.  Complaints regarding accreditation of this program should be addressed to the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.  This Commission is located at 111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314.

If a member of the PTA Program Advisory Committee has a complaint regarding the program, they should first address the complaint with the PTA Program Director.  Unresolved complaints or complaints about the Program Director should be directed to the ICTC Director of Nursing and Health Careers or the CSC Department Chair for Nursing and Allied Health.
